The Ural Mountain range has long been known as one of the strangest places in the world. Those who go there unprepared are said to risk losing their minds if they remain too long. There are reports of every paranormal phenomenon imaginable taking place amid the icy plains and snow capped mountains. UFO reports, rumors of subterranean alien bases, ghosts, and monsters are spoken of by those who have visited the trouble Ural area. And there is something else: an ancient fortress of mystery that rarely enters the minds of westerners. Arkaim is known to some travelers as Russia's Stonehenge.

The fortress was first built in the Bronze Age with four portals opening to the cardinal directions.  And according to researchers who have visited the site, it is also one of the most advanced ancient calendars, tracking 18 major astronomical events with incredible precision.  Konstantin Bystrushkin, the archaeologist researching the location for several years, has uncovered many of the fortress' secrets, and yet many more remain unanswered.  Partially this is due to the loss of one researcher who as she stood amid the ancient ruins claims to have been put in contact with the ghosts of those who lived there long ago and learned a considerable amount about them.  Unfortunately, she was later institutionalized as whatever she saw drove her insane.

Sharing an exact geographical altitude with Stonehenge, the mysterious structure shows significantly more knowledge of the stars than any other ancient structure.  And the mysteries of ghosts and strange symmetry don't end there.  Reports of UFOs and strange creatures have always surrounded the fortress.  It's almost as though this structure is situated at the edge of the known universe's reality and those who enter its walls are transported somewhere else.  The rumored mysterious forces at work here are also said to cure ailments and even, if the visitor enacts a ritual at the site, grant wishes.  Many visit from the Bolshaya Karaganka River in order to treat ailments and head out on pilgrimages.

And there are three locations associated with Arkaim.  One is the tourist destination.  The second is the area still being excavated.  And the third is a mysterious place that the locals refuse to go to.  As with many mysteries coming out of Russia, the dramatic nature of this place seems perfect like a horror the likes of which Bram Stoker would be proud to call his own.  The mysterious region is said to possess a great deal of mystical energy that can effect those who visit it either positively or negatively.  It was in the Ural mountain area that there were also a series of mysterious disappearances.  Late last year a girl and her two friends were chased by mysterious lights.  The girl was never found, but the boys were clearly frightened by their encounter.  It was also here that several hikers died under mysterious circumstances as they went on a skiing expedition through the rarely traveled pass now known as Dyatlov Pass after it was named after the leader of the ill fated expedition.  They were found arranged in a way that still perplexes investigators to this day.  After all of the rumors and mysteries that have come from the Ural mountains, it seems a safe bet that the region is one of the most paranormally active areas in the world.  And the Arkaim fortress appears to be a jewel of activity even for the region.

In Siberia there is at least 9 seats with similar buildings. This is a very interesting region. Often there are ancient megalithic structures and figures like figures in the Nazca desert. Thank you for the article. Greetings from Russia.

Thank You very much for your kind words and friendship . I'm very happy to welcome you. May your Days be blessed and filled with joy! Peace and Love .

I find this absolutely fascinating.  There are so many things we do not know and so many things deliberately kept from us.  I hope I am around the day the truth of all things that have happened in the past and the present are actually revealed to us.  In the mean time we must keep up the search -  quest for knowledge.

I'm not an expert but reading this was really fascinating.. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Rosey. I featured Arkaim and these very interesting 'dolmens' in my video, The Holy Grail. They are all part of our great common cultural heritage.

Thank Zephonith and Ray and all for your input I will put another article in about this region soon, as I get more information . blessings

Map of Celtic paternal lineages in modern Europe

This map represents the paternal lineages (Y-chromosomal DNA) associated with the spread of Proto-Italo-Celtic people from Central to Western Europe in the Bronze Age, starting circa 4,500 years ago. The Celtic lineages are the S116 (aka P312) branch of the Indo-European Haplogroup R1b minus the Greco-Etruscan R1b-L23, the Germanic R1b-U106 and R1b-L238, and the Proto-Celto-Germanic L11, L51 and L150. S116 includes subclades associated with non-IE languages such as Basque, and the ancient Gascon and Iberian languages. Since it is unclear exactly when and where Celtic languages developed and whether some Proto-Celtic speakers might have adopted indigenous languages in the land they settled (especially in Gascony and Mediterranean Iberia), all lineages were included for the purpose of this map, giving priority to Y-DNA over languages.

The thing is that these constructions were made by (officially speaking) relative 'savages' with no technology, at a time when no concievable use for the monuments can be explained, except that they all supposedly served as burial places for VIP's..

Well what kind of technology would be required to lift these massive stone blocks into precise positions, in such terrain, and using stone which was more often than not carted in from far away sites?.

WHY did they build them? Must have something to do with energy and the properties of energy. All forms of energy are part of the same thing, really. There was no need for any pollution in those days to generate energy either. And, science and spirituality were always conceived of as one and the same thing, inextricably intertwined as it were, like lovers on a sun-kissed rock by the river.

The mind can't fail to ask questions of the actual history and the time frame of history when these events took place. It's really rewarding to discover more about where we come from!

It's not an easy task to move such rock that are over 1,000 ton

Megalithic Ruins Found In Russia: Largest Blocks Of Stone Ever Discovered – Challenging Conventional Theories About Earth’s History

Mysterious stones on Mountain Shoriyain the Kemerov region of Russia

Thanks to Kitty.

From SleuthJournal

An incredible discovery that was recently made in Russia threatens to shatter conventional theories about the history of the planet.

On Mount Shoria in southern Siberia, researchers have found an absolutely massive wall of granite stones. Some of these gigantic granite stones are estimated to weigh more than 3,000 tons, and as you will see below, many of them were cut “with flat surfaces, right angles, and sharp corners”. Nothing of this magnitude has ever been discovered before. The largest stone found at the megalithic ruins at Baalbek, Lebanon is less than 1,500 tons.

So how in the world did someone cut 3,000 ton granite stones with extreme precision, transport them up the side of a mountain and stack them 40 meters high?

According to the commonly accepted version of history, it would be impossible for ancient humans with very limited technology to accomplish such a thing. Could it be possible that there is much more to the history of this planet than we are being taught?

For years, historians and archaeologists have absolutely marveled at the incredibly huge stones found at Baalbek. But some of these stones in Russia are reportedly more than twice the size. Needless to say, a lot of people are getting very excited about this discovery. The following comes from a Mysterious Universe article:

Alternate history buffs are about to be whipped into a frenzy! OK, maybe not, but they will find this interesting.

An ancient “super-megalithic” site has been found in the Siberian Mountains. Found recently in Gornaya Shoria (Mount Shoria) in southern Siberia, this site consists of huge blocks of stone, which appear to be granite, with flat surfaces, right angles, and sharp corners. The blocks appear to be stacked, almost in the manner of cyclopean masonry, and well…they’re enormous!

Russia is no stranger to ancient megalithic sites, like Arkaim or Russia’s Stonehenge, and the Manpupuner formation, just to name two, but the site at Shoria is unique in that, if it’s man-made, the blocks used are undoubtedly the largest ever worked by human hands.

When I say that this is a new discovery, I am not kidding. In fact, the very first expedition to study these stones happened just a few months ago. Prior to this expedition, there were no known photographs of these megalithic stones. Archaeologist John Jensen is mystified by these ancient ruins, and the following is an excerpt from a post on his personal blog…

The super megaliths were found and photographed for the first time by Georgy Sidorov on a recent expedition to the Southern Siberian mountains. The following images are from Valery Uvarov’s Russian website.

There are no measurements given, but from the scale depicted by the human figures, these megaliths are much larger (as much as 2 to 3 times larger) than the largest known megaliths in the world. (Example: The Pregnant Woman Stone of Baalbek, Lebanon weighs in at approximately 1,260 ton). Some of these megaliths could easily weigh upwards of 3,000 to 4,000 tons.

Below, are some of the images Jensen is referring to.

Another very unusual thing about these stones is that they caused the compasses of the researchers to start behaving very strangely.

The following is an excerpt from a story on Russian news source, English Russia:

Some events that were happening during the autumn expedition could probably be called mystical. The compasses of the geologists behaved very strangely, for some unknown reason their arrows were deviating from the megaliths. What could this mean? All that was clear was that they came across an inexplicable phenomenon of the negative geomagnetic field. Could this be a remnant of ancient antigravity technologies?

Of course, much more research needs to be done on this site.  Nobody knows who cut these stones or how old they are. Jensen believes that they come from a time “well back into the mists of pre-history”…

These megaliths reach well back into the mists of pre-history, so far in fact, that conjecture about their ‘builders’, methods, purpose and meaning is pure speculation, and as such, I would hesitate to offer any observation at all, other than to say our pre-historical past is richer than we ever dreamed.

These stones are likely to remain an unsolved mystery for a very long time. But what is abundantly clear is that according to the commonly accepted version of history they should not be there.

And of course this is far from the only site around the world that contains massive megalithic ruins. Perhaps the most famous are the megalithic ruins at Baalbek, Lebanon…

The megalithic ruins at Baalbek, Lebanon…

The megalithic ruins at Baalbek, Lebanon…

The following is some information about Baalbek from one of SleuthJournal’s previous articles…

The ancient city of Baalbek is one of the greatest archaeological mysteries of all time. Located east of the Litani River in the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon, Baalbek is world famous for its exquisitely detailed yet monumentally scaled Roman temple ruins.

In Roman times, Baalbek was known as Heliopolis (after the sun god) and it contained some of the largest and most notable Roman temples ever built. In fact, the Romans had constructed an extraordinary temple complex in Baalbek consisting of three separate temples – one for Jupiter, one for Bacchus and one for Venus.

But what these Roman temples were built on top of is much more important. These Roman temples were actually built on top of an ancient 5 million square foot platform that was made from some of the largest stones ever used in any construction project in the history of the earth.

In fact, the largest stone found near the Baalbek ruins weighs approximately 1200 tons and is about 64 feet long. To put that in perspective, that is the equivalent of approximately 156 full size African elephants.

How people in ancient times were able to move such massive stones is a complete mystery. In fact, these giant construction stones were stacked so closely together that you can’t even fit a piece of paper between many of them. Many of the architectural feats found at Baalbek cannot even be duplicated with 21st century technology.

So how did they do it?  How did they move such massive stones to create a structure of such intricate precision? Keep in mind that the base of the Baalbek ruins alone weighs approximately 5 billion tons.

Evidence continues to mount that very sophisticated technology was used in the ancient world. These megalithic ruins are undeniable reminders of highly advanced ancient civilizations.

So who were they and what happened to them? Could it be possible that they were wiped out by a massive global cataclysm such as a global flood?

Wouldn't that "pith you off" you make something that big and then they cancel the order: ?

I have thought about the tuning fork for a long time in the past, as a vibrational way of moving great objects,it work on small objects, Then why not on large objects you have confirmed what has been on my mind for years Rosey. You also have the Thoth Inner Connection, and the inner wisdom of the old ways, by listening to that inner self, we can also ask the questions that we seek and also be answered by the truth from a higher spiritual self.
