Announcement.

We just purchased on credit a chat program that does pretty much everything that the X7 Chat we have been testing but is also a supported version as well as being compatible to most browsers. Which in the long run will be a much better platform for us.

We should be able to implement it shortly, We've also purchased and paid for the domain for it and will be paying an additional monthly server fee. So we should be able to put it through soon when all the transactions are settled and things are good to go.

We would greatly appreciate it if you could help us cover some of this current cost for set up and for maintenance. I know most of you opt not to donate to the Temple and assume it's because for most of us times are very tight. So there is never a pressure to donate if you cannot afford to. But even the cost of a Starbucks/Coffee/Tea out makes a difference if a few people can manage it. Our most common donation amount is 5$ so if that's all you can afford don't feel bad! If you would like to donate towards purchasing this new program please do via our regular donation page or the chat donation set up on the group page here: Donate to Temple Chat!

You will need to register. This will prevent anyone else from taking your name. Once in you will see the possibilities of the chat that is in use right now.

Well it's great that we've gotten the support from the members that was needed to make this go forward in terms of people volunteering to organize and set up another chat application and needed moderators, etc.

I couldn't do it on my own, or the few that were willing to help earlier, which is why I made the rather unpleasant decision to shut things down until we could pull it together. Thankfully the community pulled together to make that happen sooner rather than later.

So thank all of YOU who have taken time to volunteer to help us out! Literally could not have done it without you. :)

I am so grateful for everyone who has gathered around to make all of this work. It really shows how well a community can work together! It is amazing. I so appreciate everyone who has been working hard on making this happen!
