Will post this as a topic as well as this is important in these days of awakening.
The 3rd eye is all about the endocrine system. Pineal gland and pituitary gland. Everything "spiritual" and "mystical" can be explained physically as in the Taoist system of the Dragon that I have walked on is based in the 3 jewels Jing, Chi and Shen. All the bodies are one and have only been seperated by our perceptions and beliefs.
The absolute best means of caring for these systems is to balance out the endocrine system. Your Endocrine system is the internal laboratory where the alchemist truely works. I will leave a youtube video that give the basic Rites of Rejuvination. add to this a butt squeeze to stimulate the flow of hormones that will be released during these exercises. This is very basic and the system demonstrated is far more extensive than 5 exercises. However when completed over time, give it 21 days, you will feel the effect. You can do these slow or fast. I complete these in as little as 10 minutes evey morning.
Next an exercises to open and maintain a balanced 3rd eye.

An excerpt from Dragon Wizardry
For this exercise, kinetic sensitivity is essential.
Breathe in Through the 3rd eye, and exhale out of the eyes.
Breathe n the right nostril and exhale out the Eyes.
Breathe in through the left nostril and exhale out the eyes.
Breathe in the left nostril and exhale out the ears.
Breathe in the right nostril and exhale out the ears.
Breathe in both nostrils and exhale out the crown with (KO HUM)
Breathe in both nostrils and down to the solar plexus and exhale out the crown.
In both nostrils and down to the heart center and then exhale out the crown.
In both nostrils down to the throat center and out the crown.
In both nostrils up to the 3rd eye and then out the crown.
Do KO HUM (a sound that rides the breath) into the left side of the brain and then out the right side of the crown.
You should do this 3 times.
Relax (do Egyptian cobra breath if you know it) as you inhale up the spine ( with a mild tightening of the anal sphincter muscles during inhalation and relax this mudra on exhale) and exhale out the 3rd eye. do this 7 times. Relax and feel what is going on in your brain.

When breathing through the nostrils, use the thumb to pinch off each one when called for. The KO HUM rides the breath, Inhale KO exhale HUM. This can be an extrnal mantra or better yet an internal one.
The cobra breath at the end... Basic Cobra Breath... The Cobra Beath is a very powerful kriya. It is said that one breath will evolve the sidhi a 1000 years. Sitting postion. Tighten the anal sphincter, this is called Mula Banda , as you tighten the sphincter and do the neck lock called Jalandhara Bandha, this is when you squeeze the chin slightly back toward the throat, breath up with your imagination up the spine, when the breath gets to the neck take a sniff of air and release all locks and exhale out the crown. To do the Eygptian cobra brath you do the same thing with the sound of KO HUM. KO on inhale HUM on exhale.

ON the 5 Tibetans. This is tricky as I can not demonstrate and most all of what I am giving you is actually taught in peson to intiates so guidance can be given. When spinning, be basic, breath natural. In the next postures. 2nd posture, when the feet go down breath in and tighten the butt, exhale up and relax. 3rd posture on the knees when you are in a straight posture breath in tighten, exhale down relax. 4th posture when going ionto bridge post breath in and tighten, relax when down, and the final posture when going into cobra with head thrown back, breath in and tighten, when extending upward, relax and breath out.
