It is "just you." What makes the human animal different from other primates is developed imagination. Our limited perceptions make a bed for fantasies to lie in. All "spiritual" experiences are creation of the individual's mind.

"Been there, done that ... ." Enjoy, but don't bet your arse on the validity.

Perhaps you're right, maybe it is just me, Tom. Perhaps I shouldn't have put myself out there like that.

But your comment leaves me questioning why you have chosen to join a spiritual based social networking site with talk of Atlantis, astral projection, angels, channelling etc. Is it the entertainment factor? 

If so, I hope you have at least enjoyed my "imaginative fantasy".

Exactly. All existence is in some way physical. Regrettably, the human animal operates on belief, modified by imagination. The species exists to propagate (why we exist). "Carpe diem ... ." Get wise.

Oh my god... Seriously, Tom... What are you doing here? You're searching for the truth where you say nothing is true... I don't understand.

Not that I don't like what you say, though. But I know scientists who believes in paranormal. They just let this side of them out when they put their white coat on. 

This scientist wrote a book. It's in french, I don't know how it is called in english. «Les trois clés pour vaincre les pires épreuves de la vie» by Jean-Jacques Charbonier, if you're interested. Maybe you'll find it in english, I don't know.

Excuse me if I make mistakes. My mother tongue is french.

My problem is I think too much. I question all my experiences, but I suppose I need to accept that sometimes there isn't an explanation.

I agree with you Maureen - science definitely doesn't hold the answer.

There is a difference between an individual's perceptions of "reality," and actuality. When I was twenty (now 81), a sailor aboard the USS Pine Island--a seaplane tender operating in the South China Sea--"God" spoke to me. Sleeping on the seaplane deck while steaming south of the Ryukus minor islands, I was awakened from deep sleep by some discomfort. Other crew sprawled about were still caulked out in the false dawn night. I went to the port lifelines, and (I swear) as clearly as if emanating from the 1MC (the ship's general announcing system), "God" told me: "No man remains in Hell who seeks paradise." Startled, I looked about--none of my shipmates stirred. The voice was generated from within. Misguiding priests may say it was the action from some Santa Claus (angel, "nymph," Green Man, etc.,), but the actuality is that the mental awareness was contained in an emotional reaction to some transient perception.

As a student at WVU (post USN) I experienced an OBE, a la Shirley MacLaine--and later dreams of flying (without the silver thread). When researching Wicca for my doctorate, I discovered evidence that about 20% of reporting individuals (world-wide) experienced OBE's. Ignorance is the greatest evil.

I've just finished reading your blog post on the Green Man. Thanks for the link. It was interesting and very helpful in my search for answers.

In answer to your question on the Nymphs, the Nymphs merely reminded me of my past contact with the "Green Man" but they are completely different.

This is amazing - not just the photo, but the fact that somebody else has had similar experiences to my own.

It's funny that you mention the planet Maldek because I have memories of interplanetary travel - something I don't feel comfortable discussing in detail.

I'm often out in nature and will follow your lead by sitting quietly and waiting to see if they emerge.

Words can't express how truly grateful I am.
