BEING SUICIDAL DOESN'T NECESSARILY MEAN YOU'RE HOLDING A GUN TO YOUR HEAD.
Sometimes, it means smoking a cigarette in the hopes that you'll get cancer and dies. Or jaywalking across the street without looking, because you don't care if you get hit by a car. Sometimes it means having sex with a stranger, hoping you'll get an STD and die. Or not sleeping and not eating in the hopes that the exhaustion will kill you,. Or even not washing your hands in the hopes that you'll get sick and die. Sometimes it means being cruel to the people you love or ignoring them, because if they leave you'll have less reason to go on living. Or not settingyour alarm clock for work, so you'll get fired and have less of a purpose. Sometimes it menas partying hard in the hopes that your liver will fail and you'll die. Or putting yourself in dangerous and potentially painful situations, so maybe it'll be the last straw. Being suicidel doesn't necessarily mean trying to die. A lot of times, it means not putting any effort into living.
Suïcide is bad for ones Karma. Don't do it.
Nice to see you, Tom....and I have your book.
Everyone has to bear a personal load. So it is always tough. And that's why you should never give up.
Listen to this, it is ea thing of beauty
We're all dying...at some point, anyway. No one's getting out of here alive. And some people just live harder than others. They also tend to live more fully, in a way.
Surely, if people are purposely trying to cause harm to themselves, then that's not healthy. But, I mean...eating too much junk food could fall under "being suicidal," from this definition of it.
"Truth" seems to be relative, and there are many sayings attributed to Jesus that can also be found in many other world religions. The Golden Rule is just one example of this.
I'm not sure what you think aliens and UFOs have to do with a discussion about suicide, and there's no evidence that senior dementia and Alzheimer's disease are "man-made."
So since I've never been abducted by aliens or attempted suicide, I have no business commenting?
Lol. Ok then, Tommy. By the way, this is not even your discussion, so I don't think you can say who gets to comment on it.
Tom, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and can voice it here. I'll have none of this, 'I'm right and you're wrong and shouldn't be allowed to have an opinion if it doesn't agree with mine.
It's time to calm down folks.,
Hey, Tom, most people, if they are honest will have thought about killing themselves at least once in their lives. Many have had friends and relatives attempt this, and many have succeeded.
I don't care what you call me, because I've been called stupid from many......lol I know my truth and so it doesn't have the intended affect. But please watch what you say to others. The worst words in the english language are stupid and dumb.
I actually did have a close relative who attempted suicide, and I was the one who found her (when I was still a child) and called it in.
My husband tried thee different times.....once when we were first together. I've had a co-worker succeed. We had to call the cops to break in, only to find him, overdosed(deliberate)he passed later that night in the hospital.
We all have experiences we've had to live through.
It's very difficult trying to be the one who holds everything together while someone else loses it.
It's true that we've all had experiences, and we don't always know much about each other's lives.
Thanks for sharing some of yours.
