We spend our lives racing against it, our days are governed by it. For some of us there is never enough of it each and every week, some of us would kill for just 5mins of it for ourselves. Then when we have it, we say we have to much of it on our hands. Time is our best friend or our enemy depending on your point of view.
We revolve around time, and we are the only species in the world that is. If we took time out of the equation, the sun would still set, the stars would still come out. Flowers would still bloom in spring and snow would still fall in winter.
Everything in the earth would still function as before, because its timeless, we are the only ones that our slaves to time. And we are the ones who put us there in the beginning. We have become machines clocking in and out of our daily lives, but what is the quality of the time we spend? Was it worth the battle each day to outrun it? that is the question.
Sometimes, you need to stop take a breath and feel. Feel the breeze on your cheek, the sun on your face, the touch of someone's hand. Hear the birds singing, listen to the rain on a stormy day. Dont just pass through life, but experience it and feel it. Each day should be looked upon as a chance to experience something new, grasp every moment and fill that time space each day with something worth remembering, let it smile back at you.
At that moment when your hour glass empties, and your time has ended look back at your time in this place. Know that you lived each and every last grain of sand to the fullest...
