I'm the creator of Temple Illuminatus, and I just wanted to take a moment to encourage our new incoming members to reach out and introduce themselves.
It doesn't have to be a brilliant essay all about you, it can just be a simple sentence saying hello and giving people a heads up that there's a new person on board.
I encourage you to take time to get to know one another, welcome new members, make connections and friends.
When in doubt, reach out! Don't be shy!
We want to get to know you.
If you'd like to know more about me, feel free to read my profile, and feel free to ask any questions you have about me and about the site.
Alright, thought I'd introduce myself, even though I've been here a while now.
I'm Woad. I am a Green Path Pagan, which is a fancy way of saying I follow my momma and poppa, work within my niche, learn from my ancestors, and strive for dynamic harmony in my life. I am also a green witch. Many will argue there are no colors in magic, and I agree, green witchcraft isn't about color. Green witches have a philosophy, and it's the philosophy that makes our craft what it is. I teach my craft, though not to everyone. I try to help people, both within my community and in the wider world, through my knowledge and my craft. I am also a psychic reader. My mind is entirely intuitive, it's the way it's wired, and because of this I can analyze a great deal at once, including body language, surface thoughts, personal cores, environments, and life patterns. Bringing it all together, I can form conclusions. I have a psychic twin whom is a synesthete (look up synesthesia if you don't know what that is), and between the two of us we can usually read just about anyone. I offer advice, or a patient ear. I am always willing to learn, and I am always willing to help. However, I am blunt, and I will always do as I think best, which may not be in agreeance with everyone. I try to live the middle life, in harmony with all things, and in order to be in harmony, sometimes I have to upset things.
Well that's enough of my rambling. If you have any questions, or just want to chat, message me. I'm usually around. Looking forward to learning from folks. Have a good one.
Debbie, from Deborah - means Bee. Bees are very special... Debbie has some pretty powerful origins and meanings behind it actually. :) - http://www.utoronto.ca/wjudaism/contemporary/articles/a_lambert1.html
The symbolism of the Bee is a whole other very powerful thing too... *smile* Welcome Debbie. :)
Hi, everyone I guess.
I'm a kitchen witch from Canada. I live for my children and my garden, without either I would crumble. I am happy to find a community that I actually feel I may fit into. I live in a small christian town and need some spiritual support, at least someone to talk to about it.
Hey Lasis, we have a few kitchen witches lurking about here. :) I have no children, but I live for my family as well, and animals and home and garden so I can related very much. We're a very alternative family of 4 adults with our own beliefs and also live in a small Christian Town... there are people with Jesus saves signs handing out literature on the corner regularly and missionaries at the door! I think a lot of people can relate to just feeling a need to connect with people who will be accepting and not make immediate negative judgements or assumptions about us as people.
This place thrives on authenticity and compassion, so very happy to have you here being a part of that. :)
