Why are you scared, when their is nothing to fear,
Did you listen to the words spoken in your ear.
Dance with the shadows if you dare,
Drink wine dark and red if you care.

Howl of the Black Dog.

Morning again without sleep,awake on the quilt,where are the pills?
Nightmares shadow lingers in the mind,like under the sea,full of ills.
They come at night mostly at night anxious thoughts panic,
Is there anyone else awake?walking beneath the sma hours stars,
Sweat freezing on brow howling in ears chasing round the fears,
He sits and waits with lolling tongue breath misting in air,
Red eyes spark anticipating the chase,white teeth sharp,
Hair raisng like wooden stalks pointed with death at their tip
Do i want to be here within this fractious crowd?
Scared to go to sleep,scared to be awake,
Panic within need to run and be alone,

Eternal spark.

Stars may burn out and die,suns may cool in a cosmic sky,
constellations may slip and slide,pliedes may run and hide,
Orions belt may snap and break, arrows of doom may fly and snake,
the universe may collide and break,the source may tremble and shake,
our spark of life will still shine on, our part in consciouness for eternity secured.

Caisteal: Inbher Cuilinn

Aurora light shining down upon the hill above the
fishing town,
Pale moon rises from behind over the Beinn Cuilinn
And the bauds,
A guardian and sentinel both its ward the village by the burn,
Caolas Mhoireibh kisses her feet washing pebbles a gift from the Gods.

Upon her head nestles a crown of wood with a jewel of ancient stone,
Beneath a sky where Artio looks down and lovers walk hand in hand,
Where Kings once warred and left their blood to colour seaside sand,
And now red rocks stand in silent mein keeping their memory alive,

Caisteal of Inbher Cuilinn stands dark beneath auroras gaze
Clear again of wild bramble bush to look over the northern seas
See dolphins and whales perform to leave the mind in a daze,
Once again to become the queen of Cruithne forts protecting Mhoireibh shores.

Wooden crowns never last they become one with the earth,
Memories you hold keep your name alive never lost in death.

A sonnet for you.

Youth like a pale spring flower blown in summer breeze,
Like the blossom of an apple tree as it fades from sight,
It lasts but a little while as the green summer leaves,
But when in bloom is glorious as swans in flight.

You dance across the floor as a flower petal falls,
Delicate and so light within you shines a glow,
Of innocence and maturity rolled loosly in a ball,
Dancing where lesser beings seem to pass so slow.

Don’t let go of youthful and innocent thought,
Go out and gather it all before the night draws in,
As soon the inner glow fades as age is slowly fought,
Revel in your youth as you let the dance begin.

Heads will rock with inner sound,
As you skip and twirl a life you have found.
