If we've learned anything recently, it's to breathe.  To stand still and take things in, including our Loved Ones, Nature, food, even our cup of coffee!

We are living in The Now, as the buzzing of that 'clock' has subsided for many. If not ~ maybe we can offer a sanctuary for a little while? A quiet, reflective spot in time.

Just Be sometimes?

Stop. Breathe. Catch a moment.

The World is beautiful. In the Now, not next week, or last month.

Right now at this very minute. So, breathe.

Yeah, musicians and mystics, such a party.

Also, it's nice just to say something and it doesn't have to be solid gold. Therefore, Lorelie, underscoring the achievements of 60s/70s progressive rock does not take away from what's going on today, but it does show that distinctions arise from the Sense & Sensibility combined with the particular period of substantial contribution. There is so much going on today that no one can keep track of all of it, but if one wants to find  the music of Quantum or Tantra or Solfeggios ... a band like Brujo's Bowl is very specific about being healing music. I got turned onto Shpongle, and liked them & their Terence McKenna tribute, but they fell off my screen, just like the person who digs them finds Yes or early Genesis boring. Or you can just forget about listening and just play,  join a Percussion Ensemble like the schools that have kids playing "Kashmir" and "Crazy Train" on multiple marimbas!

In other words, there are two kinds of rock listeners in this world: those who like the Doors and those who don't. That's always been true. So, glad you love the Doors!

Mystic when I paint I have to be isolated. I have found it hard to get into the right frame of mind for a few years now as I havent had that space. If I sit down to draw/paint I can guarantee someone will want something. It takes me an hour to clear my head to 'art'. Now my husband is working nights, I'm hoping to find 'my space' again.
