The state of California may soon require Starbucks and other coffee purveyors to post a cancer warning. The culprit is a chemical called acrylamide that is used in the roasting process. Acrylamide is a known cancer causing agent. Look, I love a good cup of Java as much as any of you, but we need to be aware of the risks associated with chemicals that may be added during processing. Thank you so much for posting this. It is important to know what your consuming from the ingredients to the process of how it's made. Everything calls for chemicals these days and not even coffee is safe.
