It’s one thing to have a tolerant meeting with a wild wolf that goes on for a matter of minutes. But this went on for six years!

The residents of a neighborhood on the outskirts of Juneau came to know the wolf, called Romeo, as an individual. And he got to know them and their dogs.

There are many child friendly versions of Peter and the Wolf which, I think, help promote a positive image of wolves, instead of promoting fear. I love this article and can't wait to read A Wolf Called Romeo!

Beautiful account of the author himself.
Each and every animal, in its full habitat and fed is stunning coexistence for sure.
