Throughout our years in the field, GRASP has interacted with Autistic adults and families that are struggling to get all of their service needs met. When these services are not covered, individuals and families must decide if they are going to pursue these supports out-of-pocket. GRASP has been seeking a means to provide an affordable program for Autistic individuals and families in need.
We are excited to offer our affordable program of individualized coaching sessions for Autistic adults and families. The cost of these sessions are subsidized by a grant, meaning we get to offer this in-depth support at a lower cost to families. Sessions provide coaching in multiple areas and may be tailored to meet your specific needs. Coaching sessions are offered in person in the Hudson Valley of New York. Virtual sessions are offered nationally.
Coaching differs from therapy, as the coach and individual immediately seek to identify the individual’s issues and needs. The coach then offer solutions which come from our years of experience, evidence-based practices, and from a neurodivergent supportive perspective. Our certified autism specialist coaches seek to resolve issues within several sessions. For families that are unable to pay the full price, we offer a discounted rate of $300 for six, 60 minute sessions, after the first consultation session and with proof of financial need.
