Being prepared is key no matter what we do in life. Being prepared for a disaster, and unexpected emergencies is crucial. In this group we will discus strategies of survival, both natural and in the wild, as well as possible disruption in social and political order,  and how we can prepare ourselves and stay prepared for whatever challenges we may face in these times… The more we can educate ourselves on these matters and use our awareness the better chance we will have for survival..

Cut the log evenly on both sides so it stands up freely. Then cut it into vertical segments most of the way down the length of the log. Stuff in some newspaper into the cracks as deep as you can get it, leaving a wick at the bottom, and light it up.
That's all there is to it—the log burns from the inside out, and you have a simple, handmade stove
