I have always been facinated with wildlife and have even felt that much of our "domesticated" livestock needs to be returned to more of its original integrated state. Cattle open range, grass fed, chickens running loose, etc. In striving for creative work free, machine efficiency type relationships with these creatures we alter them and ourselves. These same arguements apply to much of our plant kingdom as well. The First Nation indigenous peoples had not only a stronger relationship to the wildlife world, but tended to exhibit much of the strength, resourcefulness, and independence of the same creatures. Are we surprised that "modern man" has become a dependent parasitical non thinking creature? Just some thoughts.
