Raspberries in Witchcraft

Keywords: love, faithfulness, ease of childbirthing pains, good fortune in a marriage, self love, patience, kindness, heart, prudence, protection from wandering spirits, sex, gentleness, water, happiness, Venus, glamours, blood.

Some ideas on how to use raspberries:

Make and/or share raspberry wine with someone your significant other to strengthen the relationship and keep faithful.

Drink raspberry tea to help during menstruation pains or with pregnancy pains.

Bathe in water that has raspberries in it to help with beauty or aura glamours.

Use raspberries in a spell to bring good fortune to your marriage.

Both raspberries and the leaves are very potent for bringing in new love or helping with sex magic.

Hang up raspberry branches over you door to protect your home from wandering spirits.

Enchant raspberries and eat them for a mood boosting spell.

If a spell calls for blood but you’re not comfortable with that, a raspberry is an efficient substitute. It symbolizes the blood from your heart.

Incorporate raspberries into a self love spell.

Now that Ostara has passed I now look forward to Beltane. There is a big festival we go to to celebrate Beltane. We usually have big rituals outside plus lots of drumming. Winter still has its grips on us still but as the days go by the warmer weather will prevail.Blessed Be!

Also, I wanted to thank Don or posting the info on the witch's pyramid. When I first started my path years ago, I stumbled across this and it truly helped define for me how to perform magick and was expected of me as the caster. I think it serves you best to learn it early and always keep it as a guideline, both magically and for life in general. Wise teaching.

The Witches' Pyramid / Rules of the Magus

To Know, to Dare, to Will, To Keep Silent,
These are the four words of the Magus.
In order to Dare, we must Know
In order to Will we must Dare
We must Will to possess Empire.
To reign, we must be silent.

To Know, To Dare, To Will and To Keep Silent, make up the four
principles to what is known as The Witches' Pyramid. These principals
are very important to successful spell working. But what do they
actually mean?

1. To Know
Know your correspondences. Research what kind of spell you are going
to perform. What the spell requires. Why you need a certain candle
color or oil, or why you are using a particular herb. Different
Traditions do have different correspondences for color, plants, oils
etc. Learn the moon phases and timings The more you learn the more
focused your energy will become. Adding to the power of your spell
work.

2. To Dare
Make a list, before doing the spell on exactly WHY you are doing the
spell. Are there mundane ways of reaching your goal. Will the spell
actually accomplish what you want. If you have mixed emotions or
purpose, than this can compromise your spell working. Know exactly
why you are doing the spell. Be very clear in your own mind why you
believe a spell will achieve the result you require.

3. To Will
This relates to you. You must have confidence in your spell for it to
work. You must believe that magick does work. You need to be focused
on what you are doing totally. Your spell needs your energy to work,
if you do not provide your spell with the right energy, then your
spell may not work, even backfire. Just having the props, without the
will, will give you unpredictable results.

4. To Keep Silent
Once you have performed your spell, you should not mention it or
dwell on whether your spell has met it's objective. Let the spell, do
its work. Don't waste energy worrying if a spell is going to work.
That energy can be better used elsewhere. Don't talk to another about
your spell either. This may weaken the strength of the spell if the
other person, questions or undermines your ability or whether the
spell will work.

These principals may differ from tradition to tradition, but
basically what it boils down to, is having the confidence in the
power within you. Believing in your magick. Follow the basic
principals and your spell work will succeed every time.
