Be

If we've learned anything recently, it's to breathe.  To stand still and take things in, including our Loved Ones, Nature, food, even our cup of coffee!

We are living in The Now, as the buzzing of that 'clock' has subsided for many. If not ~ maybe we can offer a sanctuary for a little while? A quiet, reflective spot in time.

Just Be sometimes?

Stop. Breathe. Catch a moment.

The World is beautiful. In the Now, not next week, or last month.

Right now at this very minute. So, breathe.

My grandson is autistic. I think my son is too. The school and the neighbours are very good with Harry, even when they hear screaming and shouting coming from the house. He doesn't have many meltdowns now, but when he does..

I love the peace you find in a proper greenhouse, you know the wooden, brick and glass kind? Lmao! We once started to build one, and hubby put the concrete, and then the brick footings in, I did the frame and glass. We had a visitor, saw to her, and I went back, and the nextdoor neighbour's kids, were throwing stones at the panes and smashing them, with encouragement from the 'gent' that lived at their home.  At the time I was distraught.

Daft.

She was living with a very bad man at the time and he would turn up in my garden, amongst  shrubs, and come out at me, until one day, I lost it a bit. Irish temper flared and I threatened to hit him around the head with my spade. He froze and then legged it. It was probably just as well coz I was seeing white flashes, and lost a little time. One minute he was infront of me, the next half way up the road...

I screamed so loudly that the neighbours came out from across the road. Sorry but the memory made me laugh. Crazy.

I totally get you Linda.

My sister is severely autistic. When she was born, the doctors said she was going to survive by the age of three.

The good news is she is still around and she's thirty.

Both my parents are nurses so it works out.

She also knows she's autistic, but she had accepted it and seems pretty happy in her life.

My mom really knows what she is doing with her.

Hello & Welcome Dusty!

My across the street and down one neighbor yelled at my daughter for trying to pick up the silver baby kitten today.  Sometimes it sucks being a pacifist, I so badly wanted to scream at her, and then ask her permission to water my garden, eat, etc....since she was minding our business anyway.  I didn't, but it was a near thing for a while.  I'm still pissed.  About a year or so ago, her husband yelled at my daughter for skipping and singing while she walked.  Now him I did yell at, and told him to leave my daughter alone she isn't hurting anyone.  Pretty much the whole park knows she i autistic.
