That's very interesting, Boudicca - I truly believe that all religions and forms of spirituality will unite in time - and the reason is, that Goddess is at the roots of all.

Living in Ireland the Triple Goddess is well known and still revered to some extent even having been absorbed into Christianity.  St Brigid as the catholics know her, and have a feast day to her on the 1st February, is one of the main goddesses here.  In paganism, she is a trinity, a triple Goddess all called Brigid (also Brighid, Brid, Breege) and is likened to the Virgin Mary.

She is a healer, a poet, a mother.  She is a wonderful deity and has now merged into a unison of paganism and christianity.

 Welcome to the group!

The Triple Goddess is present in all cultures, and the concept of a female Trinity is very ancient indeed.

This is a picture of the Arabian Triple Goddess. On the left is the Virgin Goddess of the Morning Star, Al-Uzza, meaning "Mighty". Al-Uzza 's sacred Tree is the Acacia, a magickal tree genus which has many associations with ancient Pagan Goddess worship. A thorn tree, the Acacias are inhabited by tree spirits - Nymphs and Dryads, and in the days of Goddess worship in Arabia, the outdoor temples of Al-Uzza were circular clearings , ringed about by Acacias.

Her sacred animal is the Desert Lynx, or Caracal.As the Arabic Venus, Al-Uzza corresponds to several other Maiden archetypes.

In the center is the Mother Goddess, Al'lat. The Name Allat, means simply , Goddess - the feminine Name for God. Allat is far older than any male deity, and if anything, the god Allah came from the Arabian Mother Goddess.

Allat is one of the few solar Goddesses, apart from Goddesses such as Amaterasu. As the Mother Goddess, Allat's influence may be felt more keenly during the Full Moon cycle.

Ma'nat is the Crone Goddess of the Waning Crescent Moon, and all deep mysteries are Hers. The Crone is always willing to help devotees with issues such as self-protection , and the ridding of any unwelcome attachments. Ma'nat is the Arabic Crone equivalent, as it were, of Goddess Hekate, or Baba Yaga, for example. Her time of power is during the waning and Dark Moon.

The Arabic Triple Goddess is venerated in the form of sacred stones. White granite, which stores energy, as do all other granites; and black Meteorites can be used as a means to facilitate a communion with the Goddesses.
