You can have several animal guides throughout your life. Sometimes an animal guide will come into your life for a short period of time, and then be replaced by another depending on the journey or direction you are headed toward. Your guide will instruct and protect you as you learn how to navigate through your spiritual and physical life. When you find an animal that speaks strongly to you or feel you must draw more deeply into your life, you might fill your environment with images of the animal to let the animal know it's welcome in your space. Animal guides can help you get back to your Earthly roots, and reconnect with nature by reminding you that we are all interconnected.

Animals come to us because they have a lesson we need to learn a power they are willing to share with a friend. They seek to give us a gift of understanding, universal love, energy, and knowledge. In general, animals remind us that we are part of the earth; that each creature has a place; that each creature has a skill of it's own; that we have instincts given to us from Mother, wisdom born to us that we must awaken. The Animal Totem that comes to you offers you power and wisdom if you will learn to communicate with it, with respect, trust, and understanding. Developing a relationship with a live animal totem takes time, practice, patience and could be very dangerous. Having an animal totem does not mean that you are to pet the animal or even be with it physically. Having an animal totem means that you have lessons to learn and a powerful spiritual friend.

When I was younger the Killer whale and when I was a young mother, Holstein cow.

Unicorns, Pegasus, and Gargoyles as far as fantasy goes. have made their way threw my life as well.

Now after asking for a new Totem animal to help me with its attributes in my new life.

The Raven came to me in a big way. It didn't take long and I knew with out a doubt it was the Raven that came. Talk about the signs!!!

Along with the Raven came the Morgan with her crows and ravens and Odin with his ravens.

I have never focused on paticular Deity's really, as none have called to me.

Gia yes our great earth mother and La luna our moon mother were with me from the git go. So this is really my first time having both masculine and feminine deity. I can call by name,

I feel like they chose me. and not the other way around. I feel very blessed indeed to have observed this wonderful event unfold right before my eyes. Im so blessed! And Thankful! Have a wonderful day all PEACE!

I will start the discussions out with the animals that most people consider the more popular and mainstream such as tigers, bears and wolves. I will be adding many more animals including birds,fish and insects.

Please feel free to add discussions!

I am happy to research a bit on the medicine of a specific animal so just leave requests in the comment area.
