I would love to know why it should take over an hour, sometimes more to fill out an online job appy. 400 security questions, that is 10 questions, sometimes 15 asked lots of different ways. This last one I did didn't even take the time to rephrase.....just the same questions in different order.
And I doubt that anyone reads it all. At the most....it goes through a computer for percentages.
Now, shouldn't these questions come under the heading of "The Interview?" Is there no one around anymore who knows how to give a really good interview.....and not a ten to fifteen minute one? These small questions don't really answer anything, though the people like to make believe they do. What happened to the job description, history of the company and a quick tour? I'm sorry, but this is how I was taught. Not, well we have several positions but we'll let you know later.
I just would like some opinions here, hopefully from both sides of the coin.
