Sorry I haven't been around for such a long time. It's been hectic here for months, with a new crisis every day. We've lost about 9 animals in the last 8 months and gotten in about 10 animals, so we still have around 35 animals and no help. Just Dave and me, and he is workin' fulltime and any overtime he can get, to pay for feed, medicine, treatments and vet visits. As donations are scarce and volunteers are not happenin'.

But we do have another way of gettin' donations. For all that shop online, we have signed up with iGive.com. If you join iGive.com, they put a tiny flower on your browser that lets the stores know, that ya have a charity in mind that ya want iGive to donate too. You have to tell them what charity ya want.

The store donates a part of the price (of what ya buy), to Snakes 'n' Critters Animal Sanctuary. It's a way of donatin' thru purchases, instead of givin' a regular donation. So what is bought, a % is put in the Sanctuary and really helps the animals here.

My health has been bad, but I still have to function anyway. It hasn't left me any time nor energy for postin'. When I do what I have to do, I collapse in the recliner and rest (inbetween chores). In the last 3 months, my left hip has been so painful that walkin' was a chore. I saw the doctor finally last week. I have a hip joint that is goin' bad (ball & socket). So I have been treatin' it homeopathically and I hang (inversion machine) every day. It really works too. It re-aligns the vertebrae, pulls them apart so that nutrients and oxygen are gettin' to the discs. Between that and supplements, the pain is almost gone.

I have to do what I can, cause I can't afford to go to the hospital, there's no one here to take care of the animals, while Dave is workin'. We keep sayin' we won't take in any more, but the resolve goes out the window, when we see a animal in need.

Winter is always bad for my MS too, but then I'll be 70 in August and still tendin' critters. They come first in everythin'. When July and August it's extremely hot and that too, affects the MS.

I have new pictures to put up of new rescues and I think I'll be puttin' a memorial album up too. Since a few of the ones I have up, have passed on.

I will try to get back more often, now that it's spring here and gettin' warmer. Dave is off work for a few days. Today we're waitin' on an electrician that works with him at the mine. He's suppose to come out and give us ideas on how to handle a 2013 lifestyle in a '63 trailer that we've added two more smaller trailers to it.

Right now, I have to get off and get busy, got animals to feed and medicate, cages to clean, etc. I have missed bein' in the Temple Illuminatus, the beautiful pictures and y'all.
