The journalism on real topics usually includes not only essays, but also memoirs, biographies and autobiographies. But non-fiction literature also includes various types of instructional / informational letters. A striking example of such letter are academic textbooks, self-help books and travel / reference books. Based on this, it is worth making a short conclusion that before writing an essay you need to choose the type of such non-scientific literature. It is best if you are interested in this literature, then it will be easier for you to choose the author to analyze his work. What is an analytical essay

An analytical essay is an essay analyzing a problem or representing an opinion based on a specific fact. The subject of analysis may be a work of art, a historical event, a scientific phenomenon.

Under the analysis refers to a method of research that allows you to study the specific parts of an object. Usually, analytical essays analyze a particular problem, that is, examine the problem itself and identify patterns in it.

The argument analysis essay is too short to give a lot of quotes and refer to different authors, as is done in essays and similar works. And yet there must be links to sources. If this is an analysis of scientific work, then you can refer to reputable scientists and their works. In the case of an analytical essay on a book or film, such sources may be authoritative publications, writers, film critics, etc. At this stage, you need to learn how to study not only the object of analysis, but also what society says about it. In the presence of quotes, your essay will be more complete and detailed, which always has stronger effect on the reader.

How to write a creative nonfiction essay

1)Brainstorm ideas for your creative nonfiction essays. Unlike writing a memoir about a specific time and place in your life, an essay is not limited to any limiting factors. An essay works best when it is somewhat specific, but in the end it can be about anything. However, there are some general guidelines that can help reinforce your essay, and when you are thinking about ideas, you can think about the elements of a strong essay.

Unlike other types of nonfiction literature, an essay is not limited to any factors (as compared with memoirs, for example, where all events and sequences have a clear order). Of course, it’s better to stick to a trend, but in general you can write about anything in the essay.

To begin, select a few topics (five or maybe ten) and exclude the worst with an exception method. That way you can see your creative nonfiction essay examples. Be flexible. It may be that several topics in your list are interrelated or can be linked.

2) Narrow the subject. Try to break up your topic into simpler theses and try to describe each of them in two or three sentences. Think about how they relate to your personal life.

3) Try to write in different forms. There is no one definitively correct concept. You can even use several forms in one essay and this is your complete right. Try a few and then reconsider and select for yourself the ideal.

4) Highlight the touch details. These details are the main feed for each piece. If your topic is scientific, this does not mean that you cannot apply a creative approach to it, but even the opposite. Perhaps you have ideas like other people (for example, authors of famous books) would describe your ideas in their own style.

5) Write your first draft. When composing your first sketch, remember the voice and tone that your essay takes. The voice should be your natural voice - in other words, do not try to imitate another author. The tone should reflect the content of the essay. For example, in the essay about death and grief you do not want to write in a happy, sparkling tone.

Creative nonfiction essay ideas

As a non fiction analysis essay example I propose to consider an essay on the subject of dreams and reality

What is reality? Reality is our whole world around us. Everything that surrounds us is called reality. What we do, produce, etc., is all a reality. The reality we can sometimes be upset. After all, not everyone is happy with everything in this world. Not everyone is happy with what surrounds them. Someone does not like the street where he lives, or the house where the person lives. And maybe someone has complexes in appearance, and he, too, he can not arrange. The reality is aggressive and in our opinion is not correct. After all, sometimes we see what we do not want to see.

The dream is completely different from reality. When we dream, we seem to be moving away from this world. We see in our heads our ideal of peace, the ideal of life. And sometimes you need to move away from reality and dream. After all, all our thoughts and desires materialize. Unless, of course, we somehow go to them and strive. Dreaming we imagine and try to build what we want. But dreams are not always fulfilled and this is a fact. We can dream of something forever and it will not come true. Why? Yes, because either we represent our dream as unattainable, or do not strive for it. If you combine these two components, the dream will surely come true!
