When you are hurt by someone, or if a person does you wrong, your first reflex is generally to seek revenge, the desire to give the person a taste of their own medicine. In short, to exact vengeance.
But one way or another, vengeance doesn’t bring a lot of pleasure in the end…
Even if you are not conscious of it, your inner self knows that revenge does not yield the best results. It can even slow down your evolution, because you would be forced to call upon negative emotions like resentment, anger, reproach, or even verbal or physical violence.
Although you may succeed in harming a person who did you wrong or treated you badly, you’d also have to come down to the level of your adversary.
It is known that negative emotions diminish positive vibrations and cause you to regress, while positive emotions uplift you and help you move forward.
The act of resisting negative tendencies like vengeance is much more difficult than giving in to them. Someone who resists this kind of easy temptation becomes, in a way, a bigger person.
If you forgive, you feel more liberated and, above all, you rid yourself of those negative emotions that are so heavy to bear. You’ll be more receptive and able to take full advantage of the beauty of life.
The act of according pardon requires great moral strength. You can succeed if you understand that the power of forgiveness always leads to progress.
My pleasure Shaun, have a wonderful festive season
Thank you Rosy
One must listen to the beating of the vibrations from within to expand and be as one with our own being to reach out and feel the vibrations of the higher frequencies of our true brothers and sisters
