I think breaking can be a rather beautiful thing, don't you? When a tree grows brittle and falls, it crackles as it's heart tears. Like it is laughing at all the other trees, making its leaves chuckle and rustle with it. An inside joke about the strength we believe we have when we are whole. - Why I wish to join The Temple & how I found out about it...
- Truth be told I was going through my drive library and, in my reorganizing of my library catalogue, this link was listed. So I followed it and here I am. I don't recall when or why I put it on my library list but I suppose that is irrelevant to my current presence.
- Which spiritual path do you follow?
- My own. A simplistic answer seemingly dismissive or defensive depending upon the nature ones perspective.

Whenever a moment like this occurs I tend to stare at the little text box with some level of confusion and resistance. it seems to both acknowledge the complexity of "selfhood" and yet also confines it within the limitations of language, fractured social arrangements, and this teeny tiny box. It is problematic in a way that amuses me as it is so very human.
I often tell those closest to me that my name was created to encompass all that I was, am, or ever will be. My name is the only thing that does not entirely constrain or limit me, its field containing the most space for my "selfhood" than any other form of verbal communication could offer you.
My name is Pan.
Anything else is a journey of discovery and adventure.

- Well, I appreciate books in general and greatly respect those that create them. There are many books that I feel serve as either guides or mile markers on my path. Amongst them are Poets, Spiritualists, Scientists, Creatives, Philosophers, & Leatherfolx alike.

- Once again I find myself with the same answer as I did with the Authors/Books section. I listen to a myriad of musical genre's and artists and very rarely claim any as more preferred over another. I listen to whatever suits my mood, sometimes that means EDM in order to help myself out of a depression funk or it means listening to something dark or angry to validate the emotions I am feeling. It all depends.
The songs I tend to love the most are ones that either align with my journey as a submissive (something I tend to view less as a role one assumes and more as an identity, vocation, or spiritual path), or aligns with my core values.

- Films and/or Film-Makers & Actors I appreciate:
- Dangerous Beauty is one of my favorite films. It helps that I also appreciate Veronica Franco whom the film is about although they romanticized her life quite a bit. As far as actors go I appreciate most for their dedication to an artform I have no talent nor skill in. I suppose if I had to pick a favorite actor I might nod toward Buster Keaton.
