Would you believe I DO see something in this photo?

2 of Swords (Shadow reading): Seeking the Truth...ending the stalemate.

The 2 of swords has to due with our mental struggles, that of the mind. Normally it would suggest that you are at a stalemate with a situation or choice, and that you are avoiding to take action to resolve this impasse. The shadow form this card takes on is more aggressive and on the offense. Let's read on...

The Shadow is all about "fighting back"..."stirring the sauce"...."Holding to the Truth". I especially like the middle card from the Da Vinci Tarot. The dragon and the lion are having it out...the dragon here represents the lies this world pulls over our "eyes"...the illusion of what "IS" and what appears to be...the lion is the Truth we know to be hidden (that's why the dragon is trying to dominate the lion...but our lion ain't gonna take no sh#%!). The left most card promotes the crossroads and impasse of the two people...neither giving in...and the right-most shows the two paths to choose from...Truth or Lie ! Let's go back to Alannah's photo again...

Here the figure has had enough of the bullsh#% and has taken matters to the extreme by "removing" her eyes to gain the advantage. True the images will still remain in her mind's eye, but at least they cannot continue to pollute her thoughts anylonger. She has become the LION...taken charge of her perspective and life...and gone on the offense as a warrior for her beliefs.

She has destroyed the "male" opposing force from the first card ('Left hand vs. Right hand)...and taken the swords as her own weapons to use to guard her mental health from now on. The choice of which path to walk is now clear...no need to wait around any longer in the last card as the prey...she is now the 'Huntress' with the Lion's heart key around her neck...

...and she's hungry for more dragon stew
