Thank you Boudicca,

yes we need balance of shadow and light but I don't always see that until I work through the shadow lol

I was at the river and the peace there brought me to these thoughts.

Today is our first snowfall, and so my days of roaming the woods and river will be less

Still the snow can be beautiful up in the mountains

Well done you!  :)  If it weren't for the hardships, how would we know we are moving forward and growing stronger? It is the balance as Rob said, t check how we are dealing with things.
