If you were interested in Reiki the first attunement is basically all you need to help promote a healthy state. This is some information on Reiki One.
Reiki and its healing benefit The name "Reiki" (ray-key) comes from the technique as re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui, a Japanese Buddhist in the early 20th century.
"Re" means "Universal" and it is a general term for spirit or unseen spiritual quality, which serves as channel for "Ki" or "Life Force Energy" (some call it God, Buddha, Chi, Qi, Prana, Love Energy, or similar). The first Reiki symbol can be used to increase the power/flow of Reiki, or to assist in focusing Reiki more intensely at a given location, or to a specific intent.
The symbol can be used as an 'energy cleansing' / 'energy blessing' for food, drink, or possessions; and may be employed as a seal or amulet of protection.
Some practitioners use the first symbol to cleanse a room of negative atmospheres; or to 'seal' a treatment.
